Bennie Vernice

Mr. Vernice is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 1960 he attended Louisiana State University where he majored in Business Administration. Mr. Vernice has been in the securities business since 1988 and has been awarded the designation of CMFC (Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor). Mr. Vernice holds a securities license with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), and Life, Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses.
For over forty years, Harger and Company, Inc. has advised people on investments, estate and retirement planning as well as charitable giving. Harger and Company, Inc. is a regional securities Broker/Dealer registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Harger and Company, Inc. is also a Registered Investment Advisory Firm and is a member of the Municipal Securities Rule-making Board, FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and SIPC (Securities Insurance Protection Corporation). It holds licenses in Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas.
Prior to joining Harger and Company, Inc. Mr. Vernice was employed by ING Financial Services. Mr. Vernice formerly owned and operated Reine Office Products/Furniture. He also had a working business relationship with River City Aviation and various commercial real estate ventures. Mr. Vernice served on the Board of Bishop Sullivan High School and the Parish Councils of St. Patrick and St. Jean Vianney Catholic Churches. Bennie and his wife, Peggy, have two children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
